Seminar in Reading and Preparation for the ASEAN Community

KU Library will arrange the "Reading and Preparation for the ASEAN" seminar, in order to make preparation for Library. The seminar will take place on June 7, 2012 at 8am - 4pm at Conference Hall, 5th Fl., KULC Build, KU Library. For more detail, please call 02-942-8616, ext 423

Congratuate to Library Staff: won gold medals in Althletics Game

KU Library would like to congratuate our library staff on winning the gold medals from the 31th staff Athletics competition by Office of the Higher Education Commission: OHEC, "Walailak Game" during 18 - 25 April at Walailak University, Nakornsrithammarat. Mr. Warakorn Wongvikarn won 2 gold medals from track and field 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter, while Mr. Prajak Sukaram won gold medal from track and field 4x100 meter.

Exhibition: One Year's continuous work, with sustainable development

Please join the exhibition "One Year's continuous work, with sustainable development" to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of KU Library. This is to present the successful work of KU library during the last 1 year and also give users a chance to share their opinions to develop the better services. The exhibition take place at 1st Fl. near Entrance/Exit, KULC Building, KU Library during 8 - 31 May 2012.

Kasetsart University proundly present you the "Green University...Green Library at Kasetsart University" exhibitiion as our University was ranked No.1 in Thailand and No. 46 in the world as Green University (by UI GreenMetric World University Ranking) and also as the library just received BEAT Awards on "Participation" from Building Energy Award of Thailand 2010.

Exhibition took place from 1-31 May 2012 at Exhibition Hall, KULC Building, KU Library.

Bookmark made of Straw

Used Straw often become trash, it would be very create idea to recycle them into Bookmark. You can join this activity as we will teach you how to do that. Please come to Eco Library, Floor 1, Old Building on May 23, 2012. All will receive souvenir from us.

Plus, you can join this activity at "Kaset Fair" on June 4 at booth next to KU Library.

KU Library wins the prize on "DISCOVER EBOOKS ON SCIVERSE SCIENCEDIRECT"

After the team worked on activities to encourage KU Students and staff to increasingly and continuously utilize the e-Book database from Elsevier from 1 May - 31 Dec 2011, KU library team won the prize on "DISCOVER EBOOKS ON SCIVERSE SCIENCEDIRECT" from Elsevier. The price include 1 Apple iPAD and cash of USD500 was rewarded by Ms. Lee Pui (Head of Online Books Sales, APAC) and Mr. Lionel New (Customer Development Manager) to Miss Watinee Khemakarothai, team leader and team members on March 28, 2012 at Meeting room 2, KULC Building.

Searching Tool for 8 Databases with 1 Time Search

KU Library invites you to try out SUMMON, searching technology via web-scale discovery to link all information resources using one time search. The tool aims to facilitate and provide users the convenient and quick way to access to 8 databases all at once.
